About PurrLonger
Some things in life stop you in your tracks. For me, it was watching my cat Bella get sick.
Meet Bella, She is 19 years old. Yes, really — 19. She's a tabby with the most expressive eyes you've ever seen, and for most of her life she ate what millions of cats eat: whatever came out of a bag or a can. It was convenient. It was "complete and balanced." It was what everyone did.
Then at 13, she was diagnosed with kidney disease.
That moment changed everything. I started researching obsessively — what cats actually need to thrive, not just survive. I learned about the role of hydration, protein quality, and real whole ingredients. I started paying close attention to what her body needed and making more intentionalchoices about her food.
Bella didn't just stabilize. She got better.
At 19, she still runs to the kitchen at mealtime. She still jumps on the bed. She still looks at me with those eyes like she knows something.
I started PurrLonger because Bella's story shouldn't be rare — it should be the norm. Cats deserve food that actually supports their biology, and their humans deserve to feel confident, not overwhelmed, when making choices about their care.
This is a space for cat parents who want more for their pets. More energy. More years. More moments.
Welcome to the PurrLonger community. Bella's glad you're here. 🐾
